There are hundreds of email marketing platforms on the market at this moment. However, there are only few, which make impact or try to do so. Drip.com is relatively new company, which was purchased by Leadpages in the recent years. It is an amazing platform. In this article, I would like to compare Drip.co to my favorite ActiveCampaign. I will compare all features and pricing structure.
So let’s start from side by side feature comparison.
|Drag & Drop Email Designer||Yes||No|
|Free Email Templates||Yes||No|
|Email marketing automation||Yes||Yes|
|Purchase notifications (e-commerce)||No (lite)|
|Contact & Lead Scoring||No (lite)|
|CRM w/ Sales Automation||No (lite)|
|SMS Marketing||No (lite)|
|Site & Event Tracking||Yes||Yes|
|Site Messages||No (lite)|
|Segments & Conditional Content||Yes||Yes|
|Custom User Permissions||No (lite)|
Conclusion about the features. In general both platforms are similar. Downside for Drip.co is that they do not offer email design and templates. Drag and drop templates are easy to create in Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign. On the other hand, Drip.co offers e-commerce and lead scoring for all plans, while ActiveCampaign offers these features only for upgraded accounts.
Now, let’s talk about prices. ActiveCampaign lite version is much cheaper than Drip.co. If you do not need e-commerce integration and/or lead scoring – ActiveCampaign is the winner.
